Dear Friends,

I know some of you will run this true a translator so I will keep this simple and very basic

Facts has started organizing F.A.C.T.S. 2014

Not much info for now, but I’ve been asked to start creating al list

for the R2builders.

The dates are …

• Friday 17th Oct 2014 (Build Up)

• Saturday 18th Oct 2014

• Sunday 19th Oct 2014

Each year Facts invites: 501st Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, Rebel Legion bases, R2builders who like to join us coming from Poland, Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, U.K., Luxembourg and of course Belgium.

To apply for free entrance and access to the R2builders booth the following is required.

Bring a droid, R2, Treadwell, 3D printer, background or other.

Wearing an official R2 builders at all times, UK R2 builders Polo is fine too.

Make sure you include the following information to apply for free entrance.

Full first and last Name

Full Address

Cell phone number

Those of you that were at Facts last year will be aware why I’m asking this,

please understand that I’m not against anyone.

(Of course children and wives are welcome, this will not change.

but I will require full names.)

Like each year, we go will go out and eat something as a group On Saturday Night.

Who is interested to come to dinner on Saturday Night +/- 19.30 hours ?

This is my 10th year at Facts, I’m hoping to make this the biggest one ever.

Hotel booking info, if you book your hotel (http://www.holidayinn.com ) and call between 09.00 and 17.00

you can ask for the dealer discount.On my family room I got a discount of € 10.00 per night, not much I know.

You will be transfered to a girl that only does the dealers, no group discount on the Facts weekend, I tried.

She will email the confirmation to your email address

They don’t have that many family rooms for those coming with families,

on the other hand, it are the single and double room that are most asked for.

question merchandizing et polo / tshirt du club : je n’en ai pas, et j’ai pas suivi si c’est géré en local ici ou via le BC USA.

Avez vous des badges comme la RL ?

j’ai cherché (rapidement et peut être pas bien) un sujet merchandizing / swag sur le forum sans le trouver. Faut il le créer ?

Avant, j’étais hébergé (plecterlabs) avec Force Relics à la RLFB, mais cette année, j’aimerais être avec vous, je viendrais avec mon bout de R2 (selon comment ca avance cet été, il sera peut etre debout), le soucis c’est que j’ai rien aux couleurs du club.

sur les salons européens où nous sommes très nombreux sur le stand, nous mettons tous les polos bleus des r2builders.

auparavant nous profitions de productions de polos lancées la plupart du temps par Bernd (un des constructeurs allemands) avant les gros événements européens mais je dois recontacter deux sociétés pour gérer cela nous même

si on lance des runs de ce genre, ca serait bien d’avoir un sujet / section merchandizing dans la rubrique achat. J’ai pas l’impression que le club n’est pas trop axé sur le bling bling (à la différence de la RL qui a du éditer 3 tonnes de patches et autres trucs) mais j’avoue qu’un beau tshirt / polo et un badge / lanyard officiel, c’est sympa

pour ceux qui n’ont pas de polo R2 club, voir avec michel qui fait l’interface avec bernt pour les polos. Je vais poster un sujet ailleurs car je pense que ca peut interesser même ceux qui ne peuvent venir à l’event, afin d’être “équipé” pour faire la :dance: à coté de nos droids, dans d’autres conventions.

Michel, I hope it’s fine that I repost that, just willing to have every attendee / newcomer with the proper R2 swag, for booth security as mentioned in your email.
