All,To keep everyone updated here is where we currently are with planning, tickets and information required as we move on with planning.
1) Update. We have heard from Lucasfilm/Reedpop that due to space being a premium every fan group has been ask to scale back their plans and will get a smaller than requested stand size. The timescale on this is unknown but we will let everyone know once details are received.
2) Tickets. There is still no news about free tickets and this is the primary concern due to the fact that the first run sold out very quickly. As many of you are aware there will be another release of tickets on the 14th Jan available from the official site here
http://www.starwarscelebration.com/Tickets/Buy-Tickets/ Because of the unknown ticket situation all builders will need to buy tickets for family planning to attend. Similarly we cannot guarantee that bringing a droid will get a free ticket so are asking all builders to purchase tickets. Based on the quick sale of the original run of tickets I urge people to try and buy them as soon as they are released on the 14th as I can see them quickly selling out.
3) Sign-Up. On the initial signup we got close to 100 droids (including non-Astromechs) and almost 70 builders, now we need to proceed with the official sign-up so detailed stand planning can be worked out. In order to sign up please send the following information in an email to
o.steeples@virgin.net with CE Signup in the title. Name of builder attending
Number of droids you are planning to bring along with rough details such as RC/static/WIP (Work in Progress). This is also needed for non-astromechs
Photos of your droids so we can work out positioning and which droids need to be in the WIP section
Email address to use for communications
Mobile number
Location
Days attending
Hotel location
Tickets bought?
Number of family members attending (this is needed to work out how many security passes and lanyards are required)
Once received I’ll send an acknowledgement within a few days, if you don’t get a reply within a week then chase me.
Don’t worry if you have a WIP droid as these will be required for the stand, but we need to judge at which stage of the build you are at and will ask for status updates as time progresses.

Ok pour moi, avec mon R2. Comment organise-t-on le transport ? Comme à Essen, chacun se débrouille ? Enfin une occasion d’aller en Angleterre ! J’espère pouvoir être de la fête, à suivre…
Un coup de ferry et c’est parti. 
C’est ok pour moi, c’est encore plus prés que Gent. Attention au problème de circulation, avec leur limitation des voitures dans Londres. Toute la famille est motivée chez moi aussi J’espère aussi être de la partie !! Tout du moins pouvoir y aller ! Cela aurait été tellement mieux en France !!
🙁 Le trajet avec droide + famille est tout de même problématique à mon niveau Quelqu’un a droide à me prêter ?
Lolo je prends le #2 si le #1 est prêt d’ici là

:arrow ça me fait un peu penser au Bagage de Pratchett ça wai, mais lui, il mords :p Mais il retrouve toujours son propriétaire, avec les compagnies aériennes c’est pas évident. Hello, J’en serais aussi. Et justement depuis lundi, je ne pense qu’à comment je vais emmener mon droide en eurostar.
Je me dit que le plus simple serait de “faire ma cantine !!!!”. D’autant que d’ici Juillet 2016, je ne serais plus dans le nord, donc il me faut une solution.
